Jesus is central to history
Jesus birth was promised hundreds of years before He came, and the prophecies came true.
The prophet Isaiah says “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel” Isaiah 7:14
Micah also foretold Jesus would be born in Bethlehem. “But, you Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from old, from ancient times”
Micah 5:2
“These prophecies were fulfilled when Jesus was born to the Virgin Mary in the village of Bethlehem” Mathew chapters 1-2
Jesus death and burial was predicted hundreds of years before it happened, and the prophecies came true.
“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by His wounds we are healed” Isaiah 53:5
“He was assigned a grave with the wicked and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth” Isaiah 53:9
“The prophecies were fulfilled when Jesus was tortured to death by crucifixion” John 19:18 and pierced with a sword” John 18:34 “He was buried in a new tomb belonging to a rich man from Arimathea” Mathew 27:57-60
Jesus return was promised over 2000 years ago, and it will come true. “He will come again as Judge and ruler of the world” Isaiah 9:7, Luke1:32-33, Revelation 22:7

Why did Jesus come?
Jesus came to take the punishment for the sins of the whole human race.
“God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God” 2 Corinthians 5:21
He came to show the way to God “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” John 14:6
